Add An Event – Free!
How To Add An Event?
First one needs to register as a user. This will enable you to manage your events later;
Once you have registered, you can login;
You will now be on your own profile page, here one can manage one’s personal information, passwords etc.
In the top left hand corner, there are 3 buttons: Dashboard, Events and Profile.
Click on Events to add a new event;
In the top right hand are is a button “Add Event”, click here to continue;
At the top, you need to enter the Event Name: Enter the name of the Event here eg. “Kurt Darren – Firkin”;
In the block below the Event Name, one can add details: Add the details for the event by typing in the white block eg. Description, images, specials, ticket prices etc. (optional);
SEO Settings: Title Tag: Add the title here; Meta Description: Add a short description here, max 140 characters;
“Where”: “Location Name” Type in venue name eg. “Die Boer” (If not listed, add a new venue and we will confirm it – it is required);
“Address, City, State, Country”: If not automatically displayed, it must be added;
Now move up and to focus on the right hand side
“When”: Select the date eg. “1 January 2013” t0 “1 January 2013” (if 1 day performance);
“Event Starts At”: Select starting time eg. “20:00” to ending time “21:00”;
Skip the publish area!
“Event Tags”: Add a few keywords here;
“Event Categories”: Select a category / artist (If the artist is not available select “Not Available”. We will then add the artist mentioned in the title;
“Featured Image”: Click on the “Set featured image” button and browse and upload an image your device (optional);
Go back up to “Publish” and click the “Submit for review” button.
Once we have reviewed the listing, it will be activated.
